1. Acceptance of Terms
By assessing, downloading, installing, or using the CareHome application, website, or any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
CareHome is an online marketplace platform that connects consumers looking for home services ("Customers") with independent professionals and service agencies ("Providers") offering such services in the Philippines. CareHome does not directly employ the Providers and is not responsible for the performance of the services beyond our standard guarantees.
3. User Accounts
To use most aspects of our Services, you must register for and maintain an active personal user account. Account registration requires you to submit certain personal information, such as your name, address, mobile phone number, and age, as well as at least one valid payment method. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Payments and Fees
You understand that use of the Services may result in charges to you for the services or goods you receive from a Provider. CareHome will facilitate your payment of the applicable Charges on behalf of the Provider as their limited payment collection agent. Charges will be inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Customers may cancel a booked service up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds for unsatisfactory services are processed on a case-by-case basis as outlined in our Refund Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
CareHome shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, personal injury or property damage related to, in connection with, or otherwise resulting from any use of the services.
